Earlier this year, I wrote something about the desk where I work at home. I just discovered that The Guardian has a site on writers’ rooms in their books section. I enjoyed spying into writers’ rooms, and reading about their writing habits (notebooks, typewriters, fountain pens — be sure not to miss the post-its in Will Self’s room).
