CFP: Emotion at the Renaissance Court

Bradley Irish, who is working on a dissertation on emotion in Tudor court culture at the University of Texas, is organizing a panel on ‘Emotion at the Renaissance Court’ at the next MLA convention, held in Los Angeles from 6 to 9 January 2011.

Emotion at the Renaissance Court

Papers considering emotion and affect in the early modern courtly sphere. The emotional life of a courtier, emotional displays at court, emotion in courtly literature, etc.
